Estimation Engineer

Detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with experience in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for construction and high-rise building projects. Skilled in reviewing drawings, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with suppliers and project teams to deliver accurate and competitive project estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment

• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Prepare and submit tender documents and cost proposals

• Analyze project scope for high-rise building projects and identify cost factors

• Coordinate with design, planning, and procurement teams

• Conduct value engineering to reduce project cost

• Maintain cost databases and estimation records

• Ensure estimates meet project budgets and deadlines

• Assist in contract review and project cost control

 

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying

• 3–5 years experience in estimation (construction/MEP projects)

• Experience in high-rise building projects

• Experience in BOQ preparation

• Quantity take-off from drawings

• Tender preparation and cost estimation

• Supplier and subcontractor quotation analysis

• Knowledge of construction drawings and project specifications
