Mid-Level Associate – Banking & Finance

We are working with a leading international law firm that is looking to grow its Banking & Finance department in Dubai. The firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join their team and work on complex, high-value cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including real estate finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, and debt restructuring/insolvency.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and related agreements.
• Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to clients across various sectors.
• Manage client relationships and support senior lawyers in business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions on cross-border matters.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years PQE within banking & finance, ideally gained at a leading international law firm.
• Admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.).
• Strong academic background and technical legal skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
